I transferred to Runnymede (from Numont School in Madrid) I think in 1978 and I completed two years there (maybe three?). It was a wonderful time and many if not all of my Numont friends came with me. I remember the great parties (i.e. Halloween), the lunches in the dining room, the great teachers (I wish I could remember their names), the music we listened and talked of (E.L.O., Bee Gees, Disco), the films (GREASE, STAR WARS), reading books like "Animal Farm" for the English class... I could write a whole chapter on my experiences there. As I traverse through my late 30s, childhood memories and experiences become very important and necessary. I wish all my old friends and faculty members the best of health and prosperity.

My brother Steven and I are alumni of Calle Arga, and I was in class with Tatiana Sabater, Alex Gonzalez Chamorro, Cherine Saadallah, Margarita, Abigail S., Amer, Amerlie O. and more.... I did not graduate from RC, I actually moved to England to go to boarding school there, then moved to US in 1984. I miss everyone. I also lost my year book from one of our family moves, so it was great to get a search via FB from Tiana. I loved to see Powell and Murphy form the 2008 blog, I remember them fondly. Back in Madrid for 72 hours, I wouldn't miss a trip back to Runnymede. I've spent two years of the last three years in New York at Columbia University, and the last year in Paris. Next year it'll be back to New York to finish my BA in History & French. Then, who knows? Back to Madrid?

I have just checked out the web site thanks to an ex Runnymedian with whom I just came across. It all brings back great memories which thankfully get refreshed each time the school sends their Year Book (each time I receive it I promise myself to call the school and update the Visitors' book, without muchsuccess.). I do keep in touch with ex Runnymedians from abroad but seem to have lost touch with those living in Madrid.
